AMR Prioritization Request Process
August 1, 2023
Award Modification Requests Deprioritized during August
As previously announced, in order to focus on fiscal year-end action items during the month of August, Sponsored Research (SR) will be deprioritizing Award Modification Requests (AMRs) except for those related to incoming awards and urgent deadline-driven requests.
AMR Prioritization Request Submission
If you have a time-sensitive AMR – that is, an AMR related to a sponsor deadline that falls during August 2023 – use this AMR Prioritization Request Form to submit a request to Sponsored Research for prioritized review that AMR.
A couple items to note:
- Submission of this form does not guarantee prioritization of an AMR. Further, if a request is granted priority review, the relevant CERES record must be complete (i.e., include all necessary information) if SR is to be able to act on the request immediately.
- This form should be used sparingly. Remember that prioritization does not mean the review itself but rather the expediency at which an AMR is addressed; all AMRs submitted August 1 – 31, 2023, will be reviewed as per SR’s standard business processes.
Checking AMR Status Reminder
During the month of August, SR staff will not respond to email or phone requests for AMR status. Do not email or call your capsule contacts or the Business Systems & Operations Team regarding AMR status. You can check AMR status in CERES at any time.
