NSF Mandates SciENcv Use for Proposals as of October 23
September 25, 2023
For new proposals submitted or due on or after October 23, 2023, the National Science Foundation (NSF) will require the use of SciENcv to prepare biographical sketches and current and pending (other) support; NSF fillable PDF format for the biosketch and support documents will no longer be accepted. The mandated use of SciENcv is outlined in NSF’s revised Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 23-1); Sponsored Research previewed this change and other Federal policy impacts at the end of 2022.
About SciENcv
SciENcv is an application that helps researchers create online professional profiles and prepare official documents required for NSF and National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant submission. SciENcv integrates with ORCID, so that ORCID account holders can populate their SciENcv profiles with the information stored in their ORCID account and significantly streamline document preparation.
